The Science of Life
Ayurveda (आयुर्वेद) — from ayus (life) and veda (knowledge) — is humanity's oldest holistic healing system, originating over 5,000 years ago in the Vedic tradition of India. It teaches that true health is a dynamic balance between body, mind, spirit, and environment, achieved through understanding your unique constitution and living in harmony with nature's rhythms.
The three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha — are the fundamental bio-energies that govern all physical and mental processes. Every person contains all three, but in a unique ratio that defines their constitution.

Weight gain, congestion, lethargy, attachment
Four pillars that form the foundation of Ayurvedic understanding and practice.
Constitution
Your unique doshic blueprint determined at conception. Understanding your prakriti is the foundation of Ayurvedic self-knowledge — it reveals your innate strengths, tendencies, and the lifestyle that keeps you in harmony.
Digestive Fire
The sacred fire of transformation that governs digestion, metabolism, and the conversion of food into consciousness. Strong agni is the cornerstone of health; weak agni is the root of disease.
Toxins
Undigested material — physical, emotional, or mental — that accumulates when agni is impaired. Ama clogs the channels (srotas), dulls the mind, and is considered the precursor to all disease.
Vital Essence
The refined essence of all seven dhatus (tissues). Ojas is the substance of immunity, vitality, radiance, and spiritual strength. It is the golden nectar that arises from perfect digestion and harmonious living.
Cannabis (भांग, bhang) has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for millennia — revered as one of the five sacred plants in the Atharva Veda, associated with Lord Shiva, and prescribed for conditions ranging from pain and insomnia to anxiety and digestive issues.
Nu (new) + Vata (vata dosha) = “New air flowing through you”
Nuvata bridges ancient Ayurvedic cannabis wisdom with modern vaporizer technology. Their Mind Body Series maps each product along the mind-body spectrum, echoing Ayurveda's understanding that different preparations of the plant produce different effects on consciousness and the physical body.
